Family Photography for me is so much more than taking "pictures" and something to check off your list of "to dos" for Christmas cards each year. It's capturing little moments in time that capture connections and unique beauty. The kind that in the quiet moments of life we look back on and in that moment we remember and are filled with gratitude, joy, and so many other feelings all around; Maybe not about that particular photoshoot itself, but that season or chapter of your life or someone you love. Sometimes it brings feelings of love; sometimes its feelings that are bittersweet. Often, it is laughter and joy over feelings of love or a specific look of someone you remember so well. The fact that we have the opportunity to look at someone we love and remember them in those moments as they were in that chapter...to memorize their face one more time...or that feeling they made us feel...or even remind us of how we still feel about them. To remember our connection to others, or even our selves and how much we've grown, not just physically but all around is so beautiful and something to be cherished. It is my hope to be the illustrator to the life that has been written for you and your loved ones.
